Thanks very much for the e-mail.
C.A.F.E. Day sounds like a wonderful idea. As you say, given the dangerous missions Canadian troops are on, particularly in Afghanistan, I'm sure the soldiers would welcome this wholeheartedly, especially coming from young people.
We would like to speak with Auriele and take a photo once the scrap book is ready or almost ready. It would be interesting to read what the children write. Are there any other activities etc. you propose to mark C.A.F.E. Day?
Our education reporter, Crystal Crimi, is just back from a working trip to Africa and is home until next week writing up her stories. When she gets back I'll make sure she sees this and ask her to give you a call so we can set something up. If you have any suggestions please pass them along.
